Watch David Tennant & Kelly Macdonald In The First Trailer For ‘The Decoy Bride’
A couple of weeks back we announced that David Tennant’s latest film The Decoy Bride had been picked up by IFC films for US distribution. Now, just a couple of weeks before its release, the trailer for the movie that sees Tennant team up with fellow Scot, Kelly Macdonald (TV’s Boardwalk Empire), finally gets a trailer.
This romantic comedy written by comedian Sally Phillips and Neil Jaworski sees Tennant playing a writer who is about to marry one of the most famous movie stars around, Lara Tyler (played by Alice Eve). The world’s media descend on the remote Scottish island where they are supposed to be getting married, but to put the paparazzi off the scent a local girl (Macdonald) is hired as a ‘decoy bride’.
Directed by Sheree Folkson, The Decoy Bride will be available on VOD (through your cable boxes) on 3rd February and released in theatres on 9th March.

this looks great! can’t wait for it!!!!
OH MY GOD GET ON MY TV. This looks like exactly the kind of ridiculous romcom that I refuse to be ashamed of loving. Like Leap Year, or that princess movie Katie McGrath just did, or all the Hallmark/Lifetime cheesy Christmas movies I watch every year without fail. Okay twice a year because they always do a random Christmas in July thing YOU STOP JUDGING ME RIGHT NOW.
Also he’s using the Doctor’s accent and a couple of the things in that trailer were PURE S2!TEN and it gave me feeeeeeeeeeeelings.
